    The Rules

Below are listed some rules and guidelines that Staff asks of you to follow. If you break a rule, Staff has the option to warn, infract or even ban you depending on the rule(s) broken. If you total three (3) points, you will have posting disabled for a period of time. Four (4) points is an automatic ban. Please follow these guidelines and stay out of trouble. We want you to enjoy your time here.

Rules are subject to change at any moment, please try to keep up with these rules.

    General Politeness

    • Welcome new members that introduce themselves, make them feel as if they're home.

    • Show respect towards other members and their opinion, this includes 3DSISO Staff, 3DSISO Designers, Uploaders and News Reporters.

    • Saying "Thank You" and/or giving +Rep to a member if his or her post has been helpful to you is appreciated.

    • Don't complain about which hosting site a member uses, you may ask for mirrors but nothing is assured.

    • Please help out others, especially new members. Show them the ropes.

    • Please do not use all CAPS in your post, it looks offensive and is the internet's equivalent of SHOUTING!

    • If you are having a problem with another member of this community, PM (Private Message) a Staff member and explain the situation so that we can solve it.

    • The website censors foul words, do not attempt to bypass the censor.

    • Do not start or add to flame wars. Everyone involved will be in trouble.

    • Do not argue with a Staff member. If there's something that a Staff member did moderating-wise and you feel that it was inappropriate, please contact another Staff member and explain the situation so that it can be reviewed.

    Outside Sources

*Note: Some of these rules may get you banned immediately. Read them carefully.

    • Do not advertise other sites or forums.

    • Do not post or request referral links to other sites and forums.

    • Do not post links to competing websites. If you have doubts about posting an outside link, please contact Staff.

    • One exception to the rule for outside sources is GBA Temp, links can be posted to there as long as the original information from the thread on there is posted here as well. The original thread on there can be linked to for users to get further support they haven't received on here. Further info is posted in THIS POST

    • Do not post links from 3DSISO or its Uploaders on other websites.

    • Do not recruit our members for another site, whether it is via our Private Message system or Instant Messaging contact details. If this happens to you then report it immediately to any Staff member and they will deal with it accordingly.

    Rules for Posting

    • Please post in English.

    • Do not flood the forums with posts.

    • Do not post links to harmful files, such as malware, adware, viruses, etc.

    • Do not link dual/triple ads to your posts.

    • Filehost referal/affiliate links may only be posted by 3DSISO staff, V.I.P's & Uploaders LVL 2 & 3, the privilege to post these links must be earned. If you are a regular member or uploader LVL 1 you are not permitted to post these links.

    • Do not post or request links to torrents.

    • Do not post or request links to nzb files.

    • Posting or requesting porn is not allowed.

    • Do not post spam. This counts for the forums, Private Messages, Visitor Messages, etc. Spam of any kind will not be tolerated.

    • Please post in the correct forums. If you do not know where to post, contact a Staff member for further assistance.

    • Do not post anything racist or offensive.

    • Swearing directly at a member is NOT allowed

    • Do not post a thread until you have all the link(s) that are required and it is complete. You can use the "Preview Post" button when making a thread in order to see if everything is working right before posting.

    • Do not post links that are not yours. They have a higher tendency of going down.

    • Do not flood the forum.

    • Do not post topics offering +Rep.

Any use of link shortners/Protectors is ok on these grounds, they do not have porn and you can only use one per link, we prefer Adfly

    Rules for Requests

    • Take your time and use the "Search" function to see whether a similar request has already been made.

    • Requests should be made in their appropriate sections.

    • Do not ask for donations.

    • Do not ask for Credit Card numbers, IP addresses, usernames, passwords, fake IDs, etc.
    Reporting Posts or Threads:
Please use the Report Button wisely. Do not report a dead link on a Mega thread (a thread that has several games) instead ask the
uploader to re-up, if more than 50% of the games are offline, then please report. Also please report any rule violation you see, it helps all
staff to maintian this site and keep it in great order for all of us, staff and members

1/1/2015 - Exception To The Outside Sources Rule Added

Today I have added an exception to the rule about outside sources just to put things straight.

    • One exception to the rule for outside sources is GBA Temp, links can be posted to there as long as the original information from the thread on there is posted here as well. The original thread on there can be linked to for users to get further support they haven't received on here.

All the users of GBA Temp are welcome to post there software, tools & ROM's, CIA's, DLC's, Themes etc.

It is well known that the sites users are not allowed to post certain files over there but as has been happening for quite a while now they have been posting it on our site which is great.

When posting threads containing hacks, tools, cia etc already hosted on GBA Temp please can you include all of the information from the original post on GBA Temp & link to GBA Temp at the bottom of the thread either as the source of the original information or for users to go to for further help or info they haven't received here.

We look forward to the users of this site & GBA Temp working together more in the future as the 3DS Scene progresses
